Gombaeryeong in a day
Follow the stream up until the forest ends and the meadow opens. Leave Seoul at dawn and you are home the same night.
Gombaegol to Hangyeryeong
Climb Gombaeryeong on the deeper, steeper Gombaegol side, then spend day two driving the Pillye valley, Hangyeryeong pass and Osaek spring, ending in Yangyang.
Yangyang to Gombaeryeong
Warm up at the Osaek hot springs, look up at the Seorak ridge from Heulrimgol, and finish on the Gombaeryeong meadow. You cross the same mountain from its east face to its west.
