Huiyangsan itineraries
The white cliff from Guwangbong
The Huiyangsan summit is often closed, so you climb Guwangbong across the gap and look at the white cliff and the Bongamsa roofs at eye level. The forest path is long and mostly flat, easy on the legs.
Huiyangsan, a night in Gaeun
Day one goes over the rope rock to the Huiyangsan ridge. Then you cross to Gaeun for market soup and grilled pork, and spend a slow second day at Eco World and Jinnamgyoban.
Around to Saejae
Guwangbong and Mungyeong Saejae on day one, Huiyangsan and the Yeonpung waterfall and forest on day two, then the Gaeun market on day three. Two climbs, the rest is easy walking.
