Gwanaksan itineraries
Seoul Univ. valley, half a day
Follow the stream up, catch your breath in the Yeonjuam courtyard, peek at the tiled hall on the cliff edge, then come down to hot soup. It is the shortest way up the mountain.
Sadang ridge to Gwacheon
Climb the rocky Sadang ridge with southwest Seoul laid out below you, then come down the Gwacheon valley to a row of stream-side restaurants. The next day is for tired legs and a museum.
Gwacheon, SNU, Anyang
Day one goes up the Gwacheon valley, day two up the Seoul Univ. route, so you stand on Yeonjudae twice. The last day takes in a mountain temple, a public-art park in Anyang and coffee in Hannam.
