Around Exit 4, Sadang Station

From Sadang you pass Gwaneumsa, climb the first dragon-head peak and take iron stairs up to the Sadang ridge. The Pipe Ridge, named for the fat conduit laid alongside it, has rock steps where you use your hands, and a lookout opens the southwest of Seoul. At the helipad the trail skips the Gwanak gate and drops to the old Gwanaksaji temple site, then reaches Yeonjuam. The descent to Gwacheon Hyanggyo finishes around 9.5 km, and you never retrace a step.
