Around Nakseongdae Station

The route leaves Nakseongdae Station through the park built on the spot said to be General Gang Gam-chan's birthplace, crosses toward the SNU side, passes a helipad and ends at the Samseongsan shrine and church, about 7 km in all. You start with a pagoda and a memorial shrine, then follow the mountain's waistline with only mild ups and downs. It is much easier than any summit route, takes around three hours, and the ride home is one bus.
