Hongdo in a day

Climb the wooden stairs in the morning and look down on both villages from the top. Spend the afternoon on a boat circling the island and looking back up at the cliffs.

One night on Hongdo

Take the daytime ferry in, watch the harbour at dusk, then start the next dawn at the lookout and go on to the summit. Only people who sleep on the island see that morning.

Hongdo to Heuksando

Arrive slowly on day one, finish the summit and boat tour on day two, then hop on the morning ferry to Heuksando and finish with a plate of skate.
