Leave the car at the Bokgok Reservoir lot and ride the village bus up to Boriam. The only climb on foot is the short staircase from Boriam to the summit tower. For the way down you can walk through the Ssanghongmun rock gate to the Geumsan visitor center, or go back the way you came and catch the bus. There is little forest walking, but it is the easiest way to see the sea on a day when the knees complain.
