Climb the Yonggi-gol valley from Baegundong, touch Chilbulbong near Seoseongjae, drop to the saddle and take the iron stairs up to Sangwangbong. Turn toward Haeinsa and the trail falls steeply, then the stream picks up. About an hour further down you reach the temple. You never retrace a step, so it does not drag.
