Gariwangsan itineraries
Janggumogi in a day
In through the mossy stream, up to the summit marker, back down the same trail, then a pot of gondre rice in Jeongseon market before dark. One trailhead and no shuttle to worry about.
Eoeun-gol and the market
Day one climbs from the recreation forest beside a noisy stream, then you collapse into a pension just outside the gate. Day two is loose-legged wandering through Jeongseon market and the cliff-top skywalk.
Traverse, then slow days
A one-way traverse up Janggumogi and down Eoeun-gol on day one, the Olympic-slope gondola and a night in a hanok on day two, then market and buckwheat noodles on the last day. Only one hard walking day.
