From the recreation forest car park the path climbs through forest to a fork, then takes the Gasap Pass branch. It is the gentler line with several log rest stops, so first-timers often pick it. Once you reach the ridge the rock crags begin, and ladders and ropes lead to the top, where the view opens toward Soyang Lake.
