From Byeongpung Falls you climb Gitdaebong, link Wangjabong and Hyeongjebong, pass Songnak Rock and drop to Gujanggun Falls. It runs 2 km longer than the 8.7 km loop on the same ridge, and you spend that extra time up high. The descent from Songnak Rock to the falls closes the day. Plan to eat lunch on the ridge.
