Duryunsan itineraries
Garyeonbong Loop Day
A loop that starts and ends in the Daeheungsa yard, with three ridges in between and the islands in view most of the way. A bowl of mountain-herb bibimbap waits at the temple gate.
Shortcut Up, Then Land's End
On day one the cable car drops you on the ridge, you tag Garyeonbong and walk down to Daeheungsa. On day two you go to Ttangkkeut, the tip of the peninsula, to look at the sea. It suits a group where not everyone wants the full loop.
Two Days Up, One by the Sea
Day one is a light walk around the temple and hermitages, day two is half a loop from Duryunbong to the silver grass at Manilje. Day three goes by car to Mihwangsa and the Uldolmok strait.
