A small cairn and signboard past the Darakwon campground mark the start of the Dobong Old Road, part of the Bukhansan Trail. The path crosses the Eunseokam spur, passes Dobong ranger post, then the temples Neungwonsa and Dobongsa, the Sanjeong mineral spring and upper Musugol before dropping into the village. You never climb the peaks, just thread together the temples and springs at their foot. Darakwon to Dobong station is 3.1 km, about 1h40 with stops at the temples.
