Gaesimsa Temple

A hillside temple with crooked pillars

Address
Gaesimsa-ro, Unsan-myeon, Seosan

A small old temple on the slopes of Sangwangsan, known for buildings that use naturally bent trunks as pillars. It sits at the far end of the Geumbuk-jeongmaek ridge walk from Deoksungsan, so through-hikers aim for it. In spring, late cherry blossoms cover the yard.
