The classic one-day Deokhangsan: summit, Hwanseonbong, then straight down to a cave that stays cool all year.

Hasami Ridge, Daegeumgul

Quiet Taebaek-side trail over the Gubusiryeong pass to the summit, a night in Samcheok, then a monorail ride into Daegeumgul the next morning.

Coast, Traverse, Taebaek

Warm up on the Samcheok coast, cross the ridge from the cave to Gubusiryeong, then roll over to Taebaek for dakgalbi on the way home.
