Deogyusan (Hyangjeokbong) itineraries
Up by gondola, down the valley
The gondola takes the climb, and nine kilometres of stream noise fill the walk down. Top out at 1,614 m, then follow the Gucheon-dong valley out.
Samgong to the top on foot
Warm up on six kilometres of valley, then earn the summit on the last 2.5 km of climbing. Sleep over, and spend day two on sights that need no hiking.
Falls, ridge, Jeoksangsan
A waterfall stroll on day one, the gondola and the ridge out to Jungbong on day two, then a drive up Jeoksangsan. Only one day asks much of your legs.
