Ride the gondola to Seolcheonbong, pass Hyangjeokbong and Jungbong and carry on to Baegambong, about 2.9 km one way. Deogyupyeongjeon is a flat ridge above 1,500 m, so there is little climbing and views open in every direction. Wildflowers cover it in summer, snow-flowers in winter. The same scenery on the way back reads differently in the opposite light.
