From the ranger station to Chilyeon Falls the path is gentle and follows the sound of water. Past the falls it steepens, and 4.2 km from the station you reach Dongyeopryeong pass, where the main ridge opens up. You turn back here, a half-day hike that never goes on to Hyangjeokbong.
