Daeyasan itineraries

Yongchu-Miljae Loop

Daeyasan's standard day: start by the stream, finish on a granite ridge. You climb the gentle Daraegol valley and come down the shorter Piagol, so the hard part is one kilometre past Miljae.

Peak, Then Coal Town

Day one is the out-and-back to the summit via Miljae. Day two lets the legs recover in Gaeun, the old coal town: Eco World, then a rail bike on a disused line.

Daeyasan and Mungyeong Loop

Start lightly with a walk up to Miljae, spend day two on the Seonyudong valley and Eco World, then finish with the old Saejae road and Jinnam. From Daeyasan to the middle of Mungyeong.
