Daeamsan itineraries
Seoheung-ri in a day
Two hours of forest, then the trees stop and a brown moor spreads across the top of the mountain. This is the long way in, for people who want to earn it.
Gaa-ri moor and the Punchbowl
Day one drives up a forestry road to a light moor walk. Day two goes to the front-line lookout and the infiltration tunnel. It works for a family with mixed legs.
Three days in the village
Warm up in a birch forest, then base two nights by the Seoheung-ri river and climb the long route on the middle day. The last morning is a gentle look at the small wetland beside the moor.
