Chukryeongsan itineraries
Namyi-bawi loop
Climb out of the pine forest past Suri-bawi and Namyi-bawi to the cairn on the summit, then drop down by Jeolgogae pass. Back at the bottom, a pot of chicken soup waits by the stream.
Azalea hill and garden
Day one is the gentler Seorisan azalea loop with a pine-nut tofu lunch and a cafe; after a night in a pension, day two is a slow walk through the Garden of Morning Calm.
Two-peak traverse
A 9.7 km traverse of Chukryeongsan and Seorisan on day one, a river day around Cheongpyeong with a night in Seojong on day two, and a loose finish at the Mongol village on day three.
