Chilgapsan itineraries
Temple Trail Day
The short way up Chilgapsan: past the totem poles, through the Janggoksa yard, then on to the summit. Lunch is a bowl of mountain-herb bibimbap, and the lake skywalk still fits in before dark.
Ridge Walk & Stars
Day one is the ridge traverse most people walk here: Hanti Pass over the summit and down to Janggoksa. Evening goes to the observatory, and day two climbs from the Cheonjangho bridge, the other side of the mountain.
Peak, Temple, Buyeo
Day one is the long 6.5 km climb from the recreation forest. Day two crosses the lake bridges and drives to Buyeo, and day three walks the old Baekje capital.
