Chiaksan itineraries
Birobong from Guryong
The classic route. The first 3 km is a stream stroll, the rest is a fight with stairs, so the day feels short and sharp.
Hwanggol climb, falls walk
Climb the quieter Hwanggol route on day one, then loosen up on the Guryongsa valley on day two. Leave a little in your legs.
Traverse, temples, museum
Cross the mountain from Hwanggol to Guryong on day one, tour the southern temple, fortress and an Ando museum by car on day two, and finish at a Hoengseong stream on day three.
