The path starts at the Literature Park and climbs past roadside stone towers toward Tapsansa. A sign gives about 4.2 km and 1h20 from Munhak-gil to the mountain. It meets the ridge at Hwanhuidae, then silver grass leads to Yeondaebong. The trailhead is higher than Jangcheonjae, so the early climb is shorter.
