Bukhansan itineraries
Baegundae from Ui-dong
The shortest way to Baegundae from Seoul. Climb early, stand over the city, then come down to a table of fresh tofu.
Fortress, then the ridge
Day one climbs Baegundae by the quiet valley path from Daeseomun and ends in a hanok village. Day two crosses the Uisang ridge peak by peak to Daenammun. Both days are real walking.
Across the mountain to Bukchon
Day one is a light walk through a temple and fortress gate. Day two climbs from Daeseomun and drops into Ui-dong. Day three loosens up in the lanes of Bukchon and Buam-dong, with two nights in hanok.
