Biseulsan itineraries
Daegyeonsa pagoda
Climb the forest road past the rock stream to the pagoda on the cliff edge, then walk back the same way. The track is wide and gentle, so it suits a first visit, and the day ends with a bowl of chicken kalguksu in Hyeonpung.
Summit, then Daegu
Day one goes straight from Doseongam behind Yugasa up to Cheonwangbong, and the evening is grilled makchang downtown. Day two rests the legs with a stroll through the herbal-medicine lanes and a tea room on Jingolmok.
Ridge traverse
Day one strolls Dodong Seowon and Hyeonpung’s lanes and ends at Yugasa. Day two crosses the ridge from Yugasa to the recreation forest, and day three finishes lightly on the Yongyeonsa forest path.
