Meokgol day loop

The loop most people pick: up in the morning, down before lunch, with coffee waiting at the bottom.

Heungwonsa valley, two days

Day one follows a stream up the Yeongwol side; day two ends with a temple forest walk and a bowl of buckwheat noodles.

Ridge walk, three days

Day one crosses the ridge from Munjae Tunnel to Meokgol, day two is a Yeongwol valley and temple, day three is Bongpyeong's Geumdang valley. Baekdeoksan seen from three sides.
