Valley Up, Cliff Down

A 9 km loop from Baegyangsa: up the Yaksudong valley, over Sangwangbong, down the Hakbawi stairs. Stream, ridge and cliff view in one day.

Hakbawi, Then Damyang

Day one is the Hakbawi stairs and the temple area, then a night at a Damyang hot spring. Day two is bamboo and the Metasequoia road. Short hike, plenty of eating.

Baekamsan to Churyeongsan

Day one is the loop reversed: Hakbawi up, valley down. Day two covers Guamsa and Damyang. Day three ends in a cypress forest and a river garden.
