The longest loop on the mountain starts at Cheongnyuam above Baegyangsa and runs over Sajabong, Sangwangbong and Baekhakbong before dropping to the temple. You climb the Yaksu valley, join the ridge, turn at the summit and come down above the Hakbawi cliff. Allow about 5 hours for 14 km and carry lunch and water from the start.
