Pass to temple

Park at the Heungnyongsa end, taxi up to the pass, then walk the ridge down and finish with galbi. You never retrace your steps, so the view keeps changing.

Pass trip and valley night

An easy summit round trip from the pass on day one, then barbecue at a valley pension. Day two is Sanjeong Lake and a galbi lunch.

Valley, ridge, pine nuts

Day one warms up on the temple, valley and lake. Day two is the full ridge traverse. Day three crosses to Bukmyeon in Gapyeong for pine-nut noodles.
