It starts in the village beside the Jeomjae ferry landing and climbs straight toward the summit from the Jeongseon side. The county itself warns that the grade is steep and the path hangs at the edge of cliffs above the Dong River in many places. In return the river keeps curling beneath you the whole way up. Behind the summit a ridge of five small peaks gives you more to walk if you want it.
